Sandbar Excursions

The Islamorada Sandbar is a great place to unwind and escape in the beautiful waters just off the coastline near mile marker 84 in Islamorada.  Located less than a mile offshore, you can't miss it from Overseas Highway on most weekend days. You will find boaters from all over converging on the sea of boats to enjoy the Florida Keys.  Common activities include swimming, snorkeling, grilling, kayaking, and more. It is not uncommon for sandbar visitors to bring lawn chairs, umbrellas, or dogs to the party. See below for our picks.
